Cambridge Wedding Photographer

Hello, I’m Andrew and I am a Cambridge Wedding Photographer  available for weddings in Cambridgeshire, London, Essex, Hertfordshire and the South East. I specialise in wedding day story telling, sometimes called reportage or photo documentary which means that my photography is all about capturing the real emotion and complete story of your day.

I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible and to let you celebrate your day without the photography taking over. I promise not to boss you about, do any cheesy poses or take ages over the group shots – it’s really not my style! I like to use natural light as much as possible, I don’t set up or interfere with what is happening but instead quietly go about recording the authentic moments and details of each wedding.

You can see examples of my approach in my portfolio as well as lots of complete weddings on my albums page. Also have a look at some of my favourite Cambridge wedding venues and locations.

Wedding Photographer Cambridge – My style:

  • Keep it real! You will get images of genuine moments, real emotion and all of the little interactions and details that make each wedding genuinely individual. I am an observer and I love to anticipate what’s going to happen next.
  • Story telling. From your preparations in the morning until the dancing in the evening your photographs will tell the story of the whole of your wedding day. This story telling approach allows you to relive the day time and time again through the photographs.
  • Fun and quirky. You will have worked hard to make your wedding day as fun and individual as you are. I always work hard to make sure that your photographs reflect this – there will be the usual “set pieces” but it’s the less predictable and more natural shots that will really make your photographs personal.
  • People centred. You will be surrounded by the most important people in your lives at your wedding. The interactions between people, looks, hugs, smiles and tears, often small gestures, can say a thousand words – this is pure photographic magic as far as I am concerned. The intimate fraction of a second caught for ever. This is what really flips my photographic switch!
