Cambridge Wedding Photographer

Hello, I’m Andrew and I am a Cambridge Wedding Photographer  available for weddings in Cambridgeshire, London, Essex, Hertfordshire and the South East. I specialise in wedding day story telling, sometimes called reportage or photo documentary which means that my photography is all about capturing the real emotion and complete story of your day.

I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible and to let you celebrate your day without the photography taking over. I promise not to boss you about, do any cheesy poses or take ages over the group shots – it’s really not my style! I like to use natural light as much as possible, I don’t set up or interfere with what is happening but instead quietly go about recording the authentic moments and details of each wedding.

You can see examples of my approach in my portfolio as well as lots of complete weddings on my albums page. Also have a look at some of my favourite Cambridge wedding venues and locations.

Wedding Photographer Cambridge – My style:

  • Authenticity and integrity. Keep it real! I want to record your day sympathetically and responsibly. I am looking for genuine moments, real emotion and all of the little interactions and details that make each wedding genuinely individual. I am an observer and I love to anticipate what’s going to happen next.
  • Photo documentary story telling. The record of the complete day is important to me. I love the flow of a full day and the variety it brings, the story telling aspect is vital and an intelligent, balanced and considered visual interpretation of the day will be priceless in years to come.
  • Fun and quirky. I am always looking for the slightly unusual. Of course I record all the important “set pieces” but it is often what is going on in the periphery that is just as interesting.
  • Emotional and people centred. I love photographing people, the interactions between people, looks, hugs, smiles and tears. Often small gestures can say a thousand words – this is pure photographic magic as far as I am concerned. The intimate fraction of a second caught for ever. This is what really flips my photographic switch!
