“Thank you so much! You have really captured the day so perfectly. All the moments that were precious and hilarious too! I am so thrilled with them and excited to share and get some framed asap! You really are wonderful!” – Charlotte
One of the very nicest aspects of my job as a wedding photographer is when I get asked to photograph on the recommendation of a friend or family member. Sometimes, as with Charlotte’s family, I will end up having done several shoots for the family over a number of years and often I will do family photo sessions as well as family weddings. It’s one of the many advantages of having being a photographer for sixteen years or so now………I have a number of clients for whom I photographed their weddings and also have gone on to photograph their growing families!
The other thing that happens with word of mouth or recommendation bookings is that I often get asked to work outside of my normal geographical area. Don’t get me wrong, I love photographing in the Southeast and there are some fantastic venues in this area but it’s nice to go on a bit of an adventure sometimes and photograph somewhere completely new! Which is how, by way of a rather convoluted explanation, I found myself in the deepest Gloucestershire countryside at Cripps Barn for Charlotte and Keir’s wedding!
I have included a small selection of my favourite moments below along with a bit of commentary along the way! As ever none of the images are staged or planned and are just captured in as unobtrusive and natural way as possible.
