Lots of couples choose to mark their engagement by commissioning a personal collection of images to reflect the love, tenderness and fun of their relationship. The resulting images are often used for announcement cards, “save the date” and wedding invitation cards, wedding signing books and boards, gifts (particularly for parents) as well as simply having a beautiful record of a special time.
Our engagement shoots take place at a location of your choice and we work together with you to create a set of images that truly reflect who you are and how you feel. This is done within a relaxed and fun atmosphere and, rather than posing for the camera, you will be encouraged to chat and interact with each other resulting in a set of beautifully natural and intimate portraits reflecting a real sense of your individuality and personalities.
Engagement shoots can be booked before you have had time to consider your wedding photographer and there is no obligation to book us as your wedding photographer afterwards. Obviously we would love you to, and if you do we will deduct the shoot fee from your wedding photography. This arrangement allows you to have the images taken early in your engagement as a celebration of that time rather than having to wait until your photographer is booked which may be many months later.
