Essex wedding – Ellena and James

Ellena and James chose to get married in the same church as Ellena’s parents and also to have their reception at home in a fantastic marquee. It was one of the largest weddings I have photographed this year with over 300 guests as well as a number of magicians, caricature artists and opera singing waiters! Ellena and James left the church in a vintage Ferrari and, despite their wedding being rather on the large side, the whole day had a great warmth and friendliness. The formal groups were kept to an absolute minimum and I took them as the guests made their way in to dinner which allowed me free reign for the majority of the day to photograph away capturing everyone enjoying themselves.

I have included a selection below of some of my favourites from the day. Look out for the singing waiter and the magicians as well as one of my favourite moments of the day when the vicar gave Ellanor’s parents a copy of their marriage certificate during the ceremony.
