“…..the photos are amazing! They are all brilliant and really capture the very happy memories of the day and we definitely look forward to looking at them again and again over the coming years” – Katherine and Stephen.
Some weddings just have their own vitality and personality and Katherine and Stephen’s was dominated by music, bell ringing and also enjoying good food! I think my five favourites here probably sum the day up pretty well in terms of it’s key features, I was rather sad to not include a picture or two of the amazing classic MG that had been specially restored for the day but when narrowing down to five images only sacrifices have to be made!
I love the picture above as it’s not very often you have a bride or groom who ring the church bells for their own wedding! I guess it’s even more unusual that they should both ring together but Katherine and Stephen actually met when bell ringing (if my memory serves me right!) so it was a bit of a “must have” picture for the day. I was particularly happy to be able to capture a lovely moment of interaction between them as well!
Above: The ceremony was at Linton Church and we did a bit of a spontaneous confetti throw just as Katherine and Stephen were leaving.
Above: I love the moment of anticipation here as this smaller wedding guest basically just digs into the massive bag of sweets. You can almost taste the sugar and feel the energy rush!
Above: Continuing with the food theme Katherine and Stephen asked their guests to carve their own meat. Each table had a carver who served everyone on the table – in this case it’s Stephen and I love the look of complete meat eating anticipation on both of their faces!
Above: A final picture to sum the day up really! The musical theme continued as the evening entertainment was provided by Stephen’s band the Linton Swing band. I really like the light in this one and the slight sillouette effect!
If you are planning a wedding featuring bell ringing, lot’s of music, maybe a newly restored classic car and some table meat carving (or any other personal or unusual features!) the GET IN TOUCH – I would love to hear from you!
