I always enjoy going somewhere a bit different to photograph a wedding. By default, I work at a lot of the Cambridge Colleges and local wedding venues so it’s always nice to be asked to go a bit further afield. I’ve photographed all over the country over the last few years from North Yorkshire to Worcestershire and all throughout London and the South but I haven’t been all that far towards the East. So, as Norfolk is one of my favourite areas I was thrilled to be asked to photograph Emma and Tom’s wedding in the beautiful setting of the Norfolk Broads.
I have included a short selection of some of my favourite images below just to give a flavour of the day. The wedding was set in a tiny village with preparations and the reception at Emma’s parent’s house and the ceremony itself in the village church. As ever everything you see is observational as I strive to provide an as authentic and unobtrusive coverage of the day as possible.
