A bit of a chat about my grumpy old man views on customer service. I hate to moan but poor customer service really gets my goat – in many ways this is a good thing because I always strive, with my customers, to offer the kind of service I would expect from myself. Most of it is common sense and courtesy but I always try to go the extra mile in any way that I can.

It seems to me (although it would do because I’m a photographer!) that most couples prioritise photography and then possibly think about having a videographer afterwards or later in the planning process. I guess that if I was a videographer I might have a different view as I’m sure that there are couples that…

“We really don’t like having our photograph taken” – I hear this so many times from couples chatting about their wedding photography and I can really empathise – I’m not too keen on it either! And I suppose that could be seen as a bit wierd! – is it not like being a chocolatier…

It’s sometimes a bit difficult to describe my style of wedding photography quickly and most importantly without sounding a bit pompous and self indulgent. I always think that using words like “photo documentary” and “reportage” is a bit off putting and you see them over used all over photographer’s websites anyway. If asked what…
